This card came out with the Fabled set in fall of 2025. Since it’s a vanilla reprint of a TFC card, it has seen virtually no competitive play. The price at launch started at $80, and slipped from there. When it bottomed out at $70, there were a record 21 sales that week which saw the price start climbing again. Two weeks later, there was another spike of 12 sales. Most weeks had about 5 sales per week. Then at the end of January, something odd happened.
The week of Jan 19-25 saw 15 sales, with prices ranging from $84 to $185. The market price ticked up to $100. Sales dropped back to 2-6 per week, but the market price crept up to $130. March 2nd-8th saw another buying spike of 11 ranging from $125-$150. The market price followed the trend shortly after, and settled around $150 with sale volume dropping.
Then April happened. 14 purchases happened in one week at a range of $205-$360. Market price jumped to $250. Now the cheapest cards on there are listed near $500. For what, an unplayed, mediocre, vanilla card? This seems very odd to me, as normally playability has been the driving factor in Enchanted pricing. The only thing that comes to mind is people speculating on Lorcana, and hoping the OG Mickey will fetch more than it’s worth.
