Strip Rich Text to Plain Text

Simply input rich text and it will output the striped plain text version!
Currently I have it set up to only run from other shortcuts, but you could always change that.
It also requires the notes app, but it might not be necessary.

Internet Speed Test

In this subreddit, countless people have asked for an internet speed test shortcut and everyone has been told that you can just open fast.com or use an app. That is true but in theory, you can time a download from and upload to a specific stable url (and use and generate a random number in the url as a token so that the shortcut doesn’t use the same file if it’s in the cache). Unfortunately, it appears that shortcuts doesn’t entirely work the way you would assume, it doesn’t run every action in the order you tell it, it runs some together or swaps some around. Why? To optimize and make the shortcut run faster. You can however still measure latency/ping, jitter, WiFi signal strength, and WiFi signal noise (if I get requests I’ll make and publish that shortcut). And for cellular, you can open the field test by using the open app action or by dialing *3001#12345#* in the phone app (not with an action). If you have a Mac, you can natively use the run shell script action and a believe the command is “networkQuality -v” but don’t quote me on that. Fortunately, there are many third party apps that can be used to run a speed test (some requiring more setup than others). If anyone has questions and would like me to explain this in further detail, you can comment on this post or dm me.
