Baby turns 4 months in 2 days and we’re currently trying to sleep train. We tried CIO for 2 days but gave up because she seemed so tired and off by the third day.

We’re trying FIO now, but I can’t even get to the stage where she’s calm and awake in the bassinet. As soon as I put her down, she immediately starts crying. She currently falls asleep nursing or being held, so the transition feels impossible right now.

Did anyone else struggle with this at around 4 months? Did FIO eventually click for your baby, or did you need to wait longer/change approaches?
