I found the original "Hellscape" red-ish color

So i have the original episode that aired when ST4 Vol 1 aired, with tha Hellscape with the OG color correction. It was red and then changed to yellow

I put a picture of the actual one that you can find on Netflix

It's a shame that they never released episode 9 with the Byss in it's red color, that would have been cool to see.

I have the OG file of episode 9 from the day it was released and it was always yellow.

Thought it was a cute discovery that some fans might appreciate

Is this a legit shot from the show? or concept art?

somebody said in the ST reddit community that this is a legit shot from the show

i know when it first aired the abyss was red and they changed it immediately to yellow to avoid confusion, but does anybody know if this is a real shot of the actual episode? or just a concept art?

Some thing i noticed about the reception of S5

So im actually doing a rewatch of Season 5, and at the end of every epidose (btw, im enjoying the season A LOT more that the first time i watched it and i already liked it the first time) i go to reddit and see the discussion threads of every episode.

And guess what? People loved the episodes on first watch. Even the live discussion of episode 7 is fun and engaging.

Of course not all response im seeing is positive, and still im seing critiques about some thing (of course, its not a perfect show) like max ald holly lakng for minutesin episode 6 and stuff like that.

But my surprise is that after the finale aired, everyone started talking in here like they hated the hole season, and about how everybody thought it was bad. But it actually was the opposite way!

Almost every reaction i have seen is positive and a couple of them being negative or mid, but its not the reception they make u think now that they had when it aired lol

I though it was funny and wanted to shared, cause i know outside the online world and the hate train that a lot of people got into just to feel a part of something, i know S5 is wildly loved and considered a pretty good season and fine at worst.

Why do people keep saying: I dont understand why the UD is frozen in time! They never explained it!... They did

Girl, people complain so much about how season 5 had a lot of exposure, but i truly think after seeing this type of questions that it was NEEDED LOL

hahaha

They literally explain in episode 6 that its a wormhole. Its not frozen in time. There is no time there, everything is as it was on november 6 because there's nobody to change things. No doppleganger of nancy that writtes more entries on her diary, no more building being built.

Its a snapshot of the moment it was created, same for the abyss. We see in the finale that the big spider isnt there in the UD version of the abyss, probably because it wasnt there when it was created.

i think its pretty obvious and really dont get why people dont get it

Season 5 is actually a pretty good final season and people just love to join a hate-train!

So, i dont think season 5 is the best season, i might think writting wise is the worst (for a show that has no bad seasons, thats a compliment cause its still good)

I get what some people got frustrated about, like the clifhanger of season 4 not being followed like we thought it would, but i think people ocmplain about a lot of things that they actually do in all other seasons, but because its the last one they are mad about it

Its a season that starts with a bang, not loosing any time to get to the action. Past seasons always had 3 to 4 episodes of buildup until everything started to flow, and i remember screaming and crying on the ending of the first episode and the beggining of the second of season 5.

Yeah, a lot of people say things dont happen until the last episode, but actually a lot of things happen during all of the episodes. Important things.

The explanation of what the upside down is: people say they made that up along the way. That's false. They literally told us in season 1 interviews that eventually we were gonna find out why there was only 1 demogordon. Well its because the UD was just created so it didn't made sense to be full of life. Its a creepy and good explanation that actually made sense.

Seasons 1, 2 and 3 follow the same structure: the UP is terrorizing us and things happen until eleven saves the day at the end of the season.

And people didn't really mind that, but when it comes to season 5 they complain about every plot point. It diesnt make sense

I think introducing Vecna was a real big mistake even if it makes for an exciting season 4, but it left the cosmic horror that made the other 3 season good, but at least in 5 they go back to the Mind Flayer being the big bad, wich makes sense and is betther than a psychotic man wanting revenge.

I had a blast with season 5 and i think dividing it in 3 parts was not a good idea, cause if it was all released at once people would have not been so frustrated cause they wanted all the info NOW and they had to wait.

I think ST works best as a long movie, and that heaving the season released in full in one day was a better form of experiencing it, but it is what it is.

I would give the season a solid 7.5 or 8.

The finale script confirms the mind flayer OG and real form! Also confirms it's ****

So i read the script for the final episode and it confirms the Minf flayer real form is the monster we saw in the finale and that the particles were just a part of this being.

Also it confirms it died, because it says: the particles dont fly away this time, they disolve into hair.

So thats it! One of my main questions that were unanswerd were: what is the og form of the mind flayer, the particles and the monster we saw was built like the season 3 with the flora and fauna of the abyss? or the monster we saw was the real form and the particles were an extension of it?

now we know that the tree was always the real form and that its dead.
