I have a solution for a long-time problem specific to Enshrouded.

IMO Admins keep world progression in check (usually excessively) by preventing anyone from doing spires or major checkpoints without the group, because world progression affects all players on the server.

This is a huge disadvantage for part-time players who want to play as a group and also play solo, and who may binge between long work shifts during times when others are off. We simply want to go far ahead while we can, because we're going to be working and unavailable during normal hours for everyone else.

So, my proposal is: Make shared world progression a toggle (with customizable details), with the exception of releasing NPCs. World progression, accessing spires, etc., should be optionally shared OR not shared. This would allow solos and groups to play the game together and apart on the same servers, going back and forth, depending on personal schedules. Huge value increase for the replayability and social traits of the game.
