I built a small Irish appointment monitor for people stuck waiting on practical driving tests and other Irish appointment queues.

For driving tests, the idea is simple: Wait.ie watches for cancellation availability and emails you when something matching appears. You still book yourself through the official RSA/MyRoadSafety portal. It does not bypass RSA, auto-book, resell slots, or do anything weird with the queue.

Important caveat: practical driving test monitoring can depend on your own MyRoadSafety account and eligibility. The dashboard explains what is needed after signup, and connection details are encrypted and deletable.

I pulled together a practical Ireland-specific checklist for anyone ordering a Tesla here. It is mostly the stuff that is easy to miss before paying the deposit.

Checks worth doing before ordering:

• open any active Tesla referral link before configuring, because Tesla generally will not attach it after the order is placed
• confirm the exact buyer benefit shown in Tesla checkout
• check SEAI grant and VRT relief against the exact model/configuration
• price insurance before deposit, especially on Performance trims
• work out home charging install timing and night-rate electricity
• confirm the actual handover point Tesla gives you - Sandyford, Baldonnell, Cork, or another Tesla-arranged route
• plan first-week charging before collection

Edit: thanks to the comments for pointing out Baldonnell collection. I have updated the site checklist so it no longer implies Sandyford is the only Dublin-area route.

A few people in the Indian community here are looking at Model Y / Model 3, so I put together a simple Ireland-specific checklist.
