I wish being transmasc didnt immediately make you queer

As a straight transsexual man, I really wish that I wasn’t automatically seen as ‘queer’ for my medically diagnosed mental disorder.

I understand that lots of straight trans men find they have a connection with the queer label- but personally, im just a straight guy. What makes me more ‘queer’ than the next straight man? If it’s because I’m transsexual then thats ‘invalidating’ -to flip it on the transtrenders’ heads-.

I also feel like being associated with LGB as a straight man is also unfair to those who are gay or lesbian, because Im straight and I don’t have the right to get in on their pride.

Anyway just a rant because this bothers me more during pride month.
