Help with career change
I am hoping someone here knows about trucking in Japan or SSW and can help me out.
So basically my Business Manager visa renewal got denied after over 6 months of waiting. The reason given was that my activities didn't qualify as stable... whatever that means. "根拠となる事実） 提出資料から、在留資格「経営・管理」に該当する活動を安定的・継続的に行うものとは認められません。"
Kind of frustrating since I'd actually been running the business for over a year (almost 2 years) by now and thought things were going fine. I own my own home here as well... Now I'm the 30 day departure visa.
I'm trying to figure out my next move FAST. I used to own a courier company back home and I've driven trucks up to 7 meters, so the SSW truck driver route actually makes sense for me. I already passed the JFT Basic (225/250) and I'm taking the Transportation SSW skills test in two days.
What I can't figure out is what comes after passing the test. How do people actually find trucking companies that will take on SSW drivers? Are there recruiting agencies or specific websites I should use? I'm based in Osaka so I figure lots of companies are based here.
Any advice helps, even just how you personally got into the industry.
