I love this theory about Pantalone, but... (7.0 spoilers)

I just don't trust Hoyo. 😭

The theory that Pantalone is a Rokot leader is AWESOME and has a lot of merit.

There's so much indications of this to be true:

- It would work with his backstory about living in poverty and being sold twice, so he can relate to the people the most

- He wants one way or another to change the world, so him leading Rokot could work, even if it's for selfish reasons

- In a Veche he may seem to not care about Project Stuzha, but he hates people fooling him and miscalculation. So getting rid of people messing with Kresnik Ore, would benefit him. And what better way to deal with them fast without lengthy procedures? Groups of anonymous vigilantes that wouldn't have any connections to him

- He also talks about "him bringing solutions" to Childe it may be foreshadowing

- From artifact set lore it seems that he has some disdain towards nobility and believes in importance of taking action

- How Rokot works seems similiar to him, behind the scenes while concealing his identity

- From Alyosha character story, the way Rokot leader is, feels like Pantalone. From how he looks, acts and speaks really reminds me of him

- He also pays attention to Alyosha Vision, and we know his thoughts about Visions

- There's a possibility that he used Pulcinella speech "May the aurora shine ever on and the tundra always stand firm" to mislead, because it's too on the nose. Also the quote may very well be just the way of ending speeches in Snezhnaya, without ties to specific character.

- It would also explain why he was so prominent in 7.0 art, in an update where we got introduced AND become members of Rokot

All these things pile up for the theory to be true. It would help to make him playable. In 7.0 quest not only they focus on Childe and Pantalone relationship, that seemed to be fine before. And the issue in Veche got resolved without much problem. We can even agree with Pantalone points! Which really surprised me.

Not to mention elephant in the room from recent leaks >!the "Pantalone remote" that looks like walkie talkie!< but we can't tell for sure.

But, knowing Hoyo I wouldn't put past them making Rokot leader

- Pulcinella

- Noy(seems least likely)

- Some random NPC

- Totally new male character

- Totally new female character(please for this to be not the case)

But in reality we can't say anything for sure until later patches drop. I really hope it's Pantalone, but I don't want to have my hopes up.

A question about segments

There's something bothering me. I'm not well versed with lore, so maybe I just overlooked something, and there's an explanation for my question.

And it's about a number of segments. From what I know we have 6 confirmed segments(not including OG!Zandik):

- 8

- 18

- 25

- 35

- 45

- 65

There were all shown in the cutscene. But I also saw speculations that there could be 13 of them, because of visual clues(for example the amount of hands in 6.6).

So how many of them were there in the end?

In Sumeru, when Omega deletes the rest of segments we can hear 7 voices. But from confirmed ones we have only 6. OG is not a segment and his already dead at the time, and 35 was the one who deleted the rest.

So it leaves us with 2 additional voices of segments that we didn't saw.

Also didn't JP VA confirmed the ages of voices in Sumeru? Obviously the ages were changed a little, but it's understandable.

So was the number of them retconned or they only shown us the most prominent ones? Or just a mistake on Hoyo's part? Because from my experience they keep most things pretty consistent. And when they retcon they try to give at least SOME explanation.

I don't think that any of the segments were destroyed before this, because of hard/expensive they are to build. So the amount never changed.

Do someone has an answer? Or is it just left open for speculations?

My small thoughts about 7.0 AQ

After finishing the new AQ and seeing a lot of discourse on this sub, I saw one thing someone mentioned.

Why curse of death didn't affect Dottore or wasn't mentioned even though it's impossible that he didn't make any scientific breakthrough? I don't know if others already came to the same conclusions as me or already figured it out, and I'm the only stupid one.😅

My ideas about it are:

 1. It did, it just wasn't mentioned (the closest to it were probably his lines in 6.2 "Reason, life, death, time and space... They all believed I would fail...) and after gaining two moon marrows and later becoming Moonttore, he wasn't affected by it, because of Trilune Authority.

 2. He wasn't affected because in theory he was already "dead". Original Zandik already died, and Segments are basically immortal. Part of his soul is already in the Ley Lines so, maybe it didn't count it in? I don't have any idea how it could work. On the other hand wouldn't it mean huge loss for Tsaritsa plan? So allowing Arle and Sandrone to help in defeating him, would be counter productive. Also in the end souls of other segments and Moonttore were able to end up in Ley Lines.

 3. His scientific breakthroughs weren't about progressing civilizations, so weren't considered as "dangerous(?)". So it ended up being some kind of loophole. But here I could just misunderstand how the curse worked.

Some smaller notes:

- it was implied that those with curse of immortality are faster to get "resurrected" after Curse of Death (that's why Pierro was able to get to our aid so fast), so probably the same thing applied to segments.

- I wonder how would Curse of Death affect Pantalone, a person who drinks Elixir of Immortality?

It's all I have. What do you think? Maybe you have some better ideas, mine are kinda weak xd

What are your silly headcanons about Dottore?

Just like in the title. Give me your craziest, silliest headcanons you can think of. Something fluffy and funny, that probably would never be canon, but it's something you would love to see.

I will start first.

After seeing how much Pantalone smokes Dottore launched anti-smoking campaign through entire Snezhnaya. Like posters in every shop discouraging smoking. On every cigarettes/cigars there's Dottore photo with warnings about consequences of smoking.

Also near every shelf with cigarettes there is a box of lolipops(8 idea) as a "better alternative".

So now everytime Pantalone buys them he's met with Dottore judgemental look. To say Pantalone hates it is an understatement xd.

Small thing that I noticed (6.7 leaks)

I just saw interesting leak about new offering tree.

>!Icon of the new offering tree looks extremely similar to pillars in Dottore boss fight.!<

>!I know they are similar because Dottore was using the power of moon marrows. But still I wanted to share it with you.!<

Boring I know XD

Sorry if formating is bad, I did it on my phone and this is also my first post on Reddit. And inform me if I did anything wrong while posting.
