My honest final opinion about dottore, the fatui and story in general
Yes I know it's a gacha game and it's waifu centered to a degree, they need to make their money and make things acceptable for people under 18.
But still I had hope... But now I'm completely crushed and I really want to talk about genshin in term of story.
I played 5 years for the plot, especially for the fatui, I liked the concept and I enjoyed every little tiny lore and fact we had about them in the artifacts lore and world quests and Childe voice lines, they were mysterious they had interesting concept.... But !!!!
I believe they started rewriting, chicken out, ignore and change everything about the fatui since Fontaine
I know people started complaining since wanderer release... But oh my god I feel scammed!!!! What is this, these are not the harbingers they teased at the start of the game
Dottore, the only harbinger I had hope for, The deepest character with high potential, the only mortal who truly questioned the truth of this world, got insane power just to wait like an idiot for the travel to gain power of friendship and kill him twice!!!!
Nod krai was the last straw for me, they just used dottore as escape goat for every little bad thing, made him the ultimate useless villain who was only there to be evil, killed him, release poor victim innocent harbinger waifus.
I wanted him to be a villain! I liked him as a villain, I rather have him as great villain with insane story instead of being playable with unjustified redemption
But guess what!!!! we had nether..... none playable and unsatisfying ending just to redeem the waifus and make kids who plays the game happy
I hate this game
I just want someone to write a fanfic and fix this story, someone please save these characters, Give me the harbingers I was promised...
