How long did you stay off work with BPPV
I recently went to an urgent care (I live in the UK) with constant lightheadedness and a floating/dizzy feeling as well as severe headache. I was told I have BPPV and they prescribed prochlorepazine and pain killers for the headache which they said was a migraine. I’ve had this dizziness and headache for four days straight.
How long did you have to take off work for recovery? I a 24 and work as a dental nurse and the feeling of dizziness/swaying/unbalance was really difficult to cope with at work. I am on my fifth day and the headache is still severe but the dizziness has gone from constant 24/7 to intermittent, every few minutes or so.
Did you wait for the dizziness to be completely gone before going back to work? Or were you able to go back to work and tolerate the dizzy spells.
