Partner on EDI-LHR this afternoon and midway through boarding everyone sent back into terminal as BA had no jet fuel at all. Presumably other carriers have their own arrangements with different providers because BA has had to beg/borrow/steal and other airlines have agreed to fuel this flight, but there will be a significant delay.

Presume subsequent flights will need to take on extra fuel at LHR.

Imagine this is a flavour of things to come.

Update: BA was able to secure fuel for the 1400 departure which has just pushed at 1711.
