The (previous owner's) shower drainage that keeps on giving
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? If this didn't happen to me I wouldn't believe it.
I moved into a new house a month and a half ago. The shower didn't drain so well. I replaced the shower box and the bathroom guy tried to see what's up with the drainage and it was proven complicated to replace the whole thing. He did however replace the drainage bit. I have since used the unblocking gel thingy 3 times. Water did indeed get drained faster but still, not smooth or quick enough..
Now to the surprise of my life..
Because my GF had a shower and done her hair the other day, I noticed water is rising to higher levels while showering and taking longer to drain. I cleaned the hair out.. and used the unblocking gel again... But this time, I thought I wanna use boiled water after the gel... So I did....
As I was about to place the cover, I notice something at the bottom, kind of floating... Gently.. I grabbed it using two cotton buds.. it was the guard of a disposable razor.. which I don't use...
I thought to myself: must've been my GF! and she probably didn't notice it...
Then I think to myself, I'll just pour another kettle load of boiled water.. when I get to the bathroom again, I look down... And there is another thing down there.. I can only see a tiny bit of it.. I fish it out the same way.. and it's a razor.. with a pink bit on it... I thought okay!!! Weird that she didn't tell me / didn't notice!!
I pour the boiling water again... And what comes into view??? ANOTHER razor guard!!!
Next.. literally I just wait a bit... And then like a cartoon or a practical joke, another thing floats in... I can't believe it.. it's circular.. looks like a cap of sorts...
I video call my GF and she says it's not her... She doesn't even use these!! Then while she's on the call with me, I fish the remainder of what you see in this photo.. one by one...
I have no idea what half of these are...
I have no idea what else is there.
I have no idea how they'd came loose? Probably the boiling water!
I just don't understand why would anyone be chucking this down the drain... It's very bizarre..
