my pathology just came back negative. no findings. ZERO ANYTHING. i do not know what to do next. urologist ruled out classic IC — it feels like such a junk diagnosis because it doesn’t correlate with any specific triggers BESIDES my hormones. extremely frustrated and upset. so basically im at a blind point:
- neg US
- neg MRI
- neg laparoscopy
- neg cystoscopy
- neg pathology tissue exam

THEN WHAT IS WRONG :(

extremely disappointed. my surgery found nothing. i am in tears — all this random pain for nothing. no idea what is wrong with me. and now im just in pain recovering wondering why i even chose this. sigh.

anyone else had completely negative imaging (US and MRI) and still had endo at their lap?
I am booked for 6 days from today and i am growing more and more anxious for them to not find anything :(

my surgeon is considered a specialist alongside one of her colleagues she works closely with. these are my symptoms if anyone else can relate:
Pelvic Region
Pelvic pain and tightness
Pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD)
Obturator internus muscle spasticity (noted on exam)
Pain that can radiate into pelvis/hip region

Hip / musculoskeletal
Left-sided hip joint inflammation/pain (consistently left)
Pain from outer hip into mid-buttock area

Bladder / urethral
Urethral burning (especially during ovulation and luteal phase)
Bladder-related flares linked to cycle phases

Bowel / GI
Constipation with hard, rigid, cracked stools
Thin stool at times
Dark brown stools reported during harder bowel movements
Bloating and abdominal distention

Hormonal / cycle-related
Heavy, large, clotted periods prior to birth control
PMS-related intense migraines
Cyclical symptom flares (luteal phase worsening)
