Can we please get some good vibes and positivity for X2’s future

I need some good vibes. Leave all pessimism negativity at the door please😂

I have come out to Cali 3 times now for X2 (although I tried to get other rides in too) and have gotten seriously messed up by rain, and other ridiculous happenings that I won’t share but basically even if I had made it to the park, I wouldn’t have gotten X2. I still don’t even have Goliath, Tatsu, Wonder Woman, Full Throttle, West Coast Racers, or Riddler’s revenge.

I already booked a non refundable flight for the second week of October, a long time ago, right as news broke about the second train coming to X2… Fast forward to today and here we are. Now, I still have just under 60 days until I visit, so let’s hear it everyone: What is your reason to be optimistic, or bull-case, for X2 to reopen by the time I come??? If this post is met with silence, i will understand that I’m absolutely cooked.

[Arie Force One]

Spoke to multiple sources today at Fun Spot ATL (didn’t get any comment from the dippin’ dots guy) but the general consensus was sad - AF1 is likely to be demolished.

Between the landscaping costs needed due to the custom layout and cost to buy and pay to relocate it, prospective purchasers will be able to just build a brand new one for the same/similar value.

As a huge fan of AF1, I’m definitely gutted, but really I’m mostly gutted for all of the staff and managers at Fun Spot who will be in need a new job. I hope they find homes at SFOG or the other parks in FL. I hope that I am wrong and that they are able to save Arie Force, but it’s not looking good at the current moment. I also feel terrible for Mr. Arie Jr. too, as this coaster was very much so his baby. If we genuinely have to see clips of a not even 4 year old masterpiece being demolished, it’s going to be devastating for the community.

If anyone has been considering making a trip out to Arie Force One before it closes, or for closing weekend, I highly suggest you do so - just keep in mind that you may not be able to lap it consistently if you come closing weekend. This is truly one of the best coasters in all of North America, and the world for that matter, and it’s a darn shame what’s likely to happen to it.

Current Freedom Unlimited holder thinking about going for the CSR 150k bonus

Need some advice.

M24 - I really want to go on a trip to Japan in November and this 150k bonus would more than pay for most of the travel involved. Im curious how I can best do this and if my credit will be negatively impacted if I close the card after a year of having it , can I still downgrade back to my freedom unlimited? That would mean I’d only pay the 795 once correct? Let me know what yall think
