What makes a worse scenario?

As many men in life, I have problems to find love in my life, especially now that I am 30 years old. In the amidst of racing thoughts to justify my bad predicament and misfortune, two complementing yet conflicting thoughts came to mind.

On one side, the idea that if you are unsuccessful at attracting the opposite sex it is because you are unconfident and not physically attractive yet you can cope with it and willing to work around it.

On the other hand, you know you are attractive, you have everything that could make you a good sport on paper, yet you are unsuccessful on attracting the opposite sex and you have hard time coping with it because you do not know what is wrong.

Which of the two thoughts plant a worse scenario to be in?

Need advice on making my own spear.

Lets part from the premise that spears and other derivatives are awesome. I been thinking about making my own spear as they seem to be easier to make than swords per se. I just wonder where do I start, what materials are good for making, what tools I can use, what caveats will I encounter as a beginner so I do not feel so discouraged if my first few attempts fail etc.

This is all in good intention and for educating myself more about medieval weaponry.

Has anyone bought any of the Romance of Men's Ninjato sword?

Just for practical and aesthetic purposes. I do like the ninjato sword as it reminds me of the Chokuto (if I typed that correctly) and I also prefer straight blades. Would I be safe if I buy a sword from Romance of Men as long as i stick to basics?

If you also happen to buy a battle ready sword with this style, would you recommend me one?
