Time to Sell?
Hi everyone, I've been looking at some posts here about selling Volvos. I'm trying to decide if it's time to sell mine and get something else (looking at a Honda). Dealership offered me $4k as a trade and apparently KBB is $4-6k private market.
I have a 2013 XC60 T6 with ≈150500 miles on it. I've done a lot of maintenance to it myself (about $11k over the 5 years I've owned it).
But it always seems to need more. Currently it needs the front CV axles rebuilt, the angle gear needs to be resealed, it needs the rear trailing arm bushings, front sway bar bushings, and cam seals. It might also need some timing case seals but I'm not sure if the residue I see is old from before I did the PCV box since it was leaking.
I have the ability to do this work, but just not enough time in a weekend to complete it. I don't have a second vehicle so I'm weary of digging into this thing since in my experience, work on this car takes way longer than I ever expect.
I still really enjoy driving this car, but working on it has started to become a pain.
Any thoughts/recommendations?
