Seeking advice on finishing this build! TAIG 5019 no motor no steppers or control
I finally pulled the trigger on my at home CNC build!

Hey guys!
I just got out of school and have been working as a machinist for around a year now on a HAAS vm2, Fadal 4525 and Mori Seiki DuraVertical 1035 eco. I can push those machines hard, and I know I can't get that kind of performance at home, but I want to be able to tackle some small fun projects at home and maybe bring the odd job home from work on the weekends like fixture making in aluminum, etc. I don't really care about cutting cast iron or steel on this machine. Just resin board and aluminum.
After a bunch of research, I settled on the the stripped down TAIG 5019 because it seems like a platform to start from with ball screws on every axis.
It has no stepper motors, no control system, and no spindle motor, but it does have Nema 23 motor mounts installed already. They have a belt driven ER16 spindle installed on it. I'm not opposed to pulling the spindle and putting a variable speed spindle on it instead. My main constraints are wanting to be able to run 200ipm rapids (400ipm would be a huge bonus!) with the steppers, run 10k-12k rpm on a 120v outlet, and cut aluminum really well. How would you finish this build??? Steppers, motion control, spindle, etc.? Any help would be much appreciated! I plan to bolt the machine down to a granite inspection table and maybe put airblast in once this thing comes alive.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Cheers!
