Dryer Damage
I just bought some coins and found these two in the mix. I’m assuming they are dryer coins. But, having never had one before…just wanted to check with you guys.

I just bought a 1961 proof set and the cellophane was split. Caused a cool blue toner on my Jefferson
I’m looking through my Uncirculated Mint Sets and saw that PCGS has a proof-like designation for the penny, nickel, quarter, and half dollar. What level of reflectivity should I be looking for in the coin field to receive that designation. I attached pics of my quarter and half where I held a ruler 3/4”-1” away from the service to gauge the reflection. Curious if these would be considered proof-like.
I had the 2026 Enhanced Uncirculated Silver Eagle in my bag on the Mint website the day it released and it sold out before I could get my payment info in. I was extremely bummed out. Today I was on a business trip to Denver and had some free time so I stopped by the US Mint building. Look what I found for sale……
I found this little beach bum Kennedy toner I. My proof set. I thought it was kinda interesting.
I have a Type 2 SBA in my proof set but the field on both sides of the coin are cloudy/hazy. How much does that affect the grade of the coin?
Curious what you guys think the grade may be on this coin and if I should consider sending it in. It has some minor contact marks bust still has very nice luster and cartwheel. Thanks for your help.
Good evening all. I have a 1968-S Quarter that I suspect has the S/S RPM, FS-501. I’m interested to hear your opinions on my coin and if you agree with my judgement. Thanks for taking the time to look at it.
I have a 1961-D in my uncirculated mint set that appears to be either an FS-501 or FS-502 but it doesn’t have all the characteristics of either. Mine appears to have the RPM on the D and the die crack on the right wing but I don’t see the die crack on the hair in the obverse. I’m curious if you guys can help me determine which variety I have. I appreciate any help that can be provided. Thanks
Hoping to get a little help grading my 2008 D penny. It’s a part of my US Mint uncirculated set. The waviness on the reverse near the word STATE comes from the blister pack. I think it’s at least MS67 but was curious what the community thinks. I appreciate the help.
