Hello cat lovers

I adopted a 5 month old female cat 1 month and some days ago, she seems to be scared of everything, everyone, but will play with toys, non affectionate only comes out under the bed when hungry, when u want to play with her she runs, should i give her back, i geniuinely dont think she will every love people, if she ever did it would be her last owners
