Thoughts on this betta community setup?
Hi everyone,
I'm planning my first betta tank and would appreciate some feedback before I start stocking it.
Tank:
- 60L
- Heavily planted (Anubias, Cryptocorynes, driftwood, lots of hiding places)
- Heated and filtered
Planned stocking:
- 1 male Halfmoon Plakat Betta
- 6 Panda Corydoras
- 10 Neocaridina davidi
My main concerns are: Is 60L enough for this stocking? Would you reduce the number of Panda Corys? How likely is it that the betta will hunt the shrimp? Would you recommend Amano shrimp instead? Anything you would change before setting this up?
The goal is a peaceful, low maintenance (still planning to do routine maintenance) planted aquarium with the betta as the centerpiece.
Thanks for every insight!
