Low Energy During Heatwaves: How Can I Improve My ANS?
Hi, summer has started here and we are already experiencing the first heatwave.
Where I live, the weather changes very quickly in the summer. It can be around 20°C one day, suddenly rise to 32°C for several days, and then cool back down again with much lower temperatures and a lot of rain.
I understand that the body usually needs about 1–2 weeks to adapt to heat, but with these rapid temperature swings, that feels almost impossible where I live.
I barely work out during hot periods, and if I do, it is very light exercise during the coolest part of the day.
I have very little energy. How can I improve my autonomic nervous system (ANS) and heat tolerance?
