I had a Reddit account that was at least three years old - I mainly used it to read but very occasionally commented.

When I tried to start my own posts they would always be removed immediately - which I now know to be due to a lack of karma. Even on this sub!

I had tried to earn by making useful, positive, or (hopefully) funny comments - but they would always have zero views.

So I started a new account. Immediately able to get views on my comments. Was I shadowbanned? I can’t think why, I never had any negative reactions to anything I posted, but could it be that I had a “lurker” account?!
