Given today's developments with the new leadership in the Senate, the overwhelmingly affirmative impeachment vote in the House, and most significantly, the ICC warrant against Bato Dela Rosa, what would happen if BBM steps up and suddenly decides to rejoin the Rome Statute?

Can he just do that? Will it be that easy for the country to just be a member again, or is there a long process for a country that previously left to rejoin? How would key officials react to this, and how would it affect the impeachment and Bato's arrest?
