Stranded on the 94 East (Home Ave exit) with my dog. Need help.

I am stuck on the 94 East right at the Home Ave exit in San Diego. My car is a black 2007 Kia Spectra. I am completely out of gas and my battery has just died.

I am here with my dog, Theo. He is a 5-year-old Pitbull and he is my world.

I am currently living out of this car while fighting a massive civil rights and HIPAA legal battle for institutional accountability. It is a full-time fight, but right now I am just trying to get to a safe spot. I have no roadside assistance and no one to call.

I can walk off the exit ramp to get gas, but with a dead battery, I cannot roll my windows up or secure the vehicle. It is becoming an emergency very quickly.

How can you help?

**Immediate Support:** If you are in the area and can help me get gas or a jump start, please reach out. If you can help with a few dollars for fuel, my CashApp is $1trackrider.

I am not looking for judgment or negativity. I am just a person doing my best to navigate a very hard chapter. We are grateful for any kindness you can offer.

Thank you for reading this.

I know the mods and the haters will snatch this up real quick. Share, follow, send help, get involved today. Theo and I are forever grateful to anyone who so much as reads a sentence from this post your participation is invaluable.

UPDATE: got a gallon of gas in my gas can. The walk took us 2 hours. Then finally after 18 hours, I got creative. I posted on an adult dating app for a jumpstart and Eddy arrived shortly after, gave me a jump, and we were able to get off the freeway off-ramp. Now this post is just a request for assistance with gas and food. Either physically or financially donating to help us. Theo has a couple days supply of food right now. I haven’t eaten in over 24 hours.

Homeless after illegal eviction/FHA whistleblowing. Living in car with my dog. Need advice on gas/safe parking/dog care while I fight this.

Hey everyone, I’m posting from San Diego. I’m currently living out of my car with my Pitbull, Bodie.
I’m in this position because of a retaliatory, illegal eviction tied to my role as a whistleblower in an ongoing federal investigation involving the FHA. Fighting the legal side of this while trying to keep Bodie safe and fed has become a full-time job, and I’m reaching the end of my rope.

The Current Situation:

The Good: I have a storage unit for my belongings and I’m able to “shower” every day. I have clean clothes and a very pretty dog. I know I’m "lucky" compared to some, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

The Bad: We are running on empty, literally. I need gas to keep the car moving.

The Struggle: I’m ready and willing to work, but I can’t leave Bodie alone in the car in this heat. Abandonment is not an option, please save those comments.

What I’m Looking For:

Gas Assistance: Any leads on vouchers or local SD groups that help with fuel for people living in their vehicles?

Safe Parking: Recommendations for lots in SD that are actually safe and won't result in a knock at 2 AM.

Legal/Whistleblower Support: If anyone has navigated FHA-related retaliation, any advice on staying afloat while the federal wheels turn slowly would be huge.

I’m doing everything I can to stay "normal" keeping clean, keeping the car organized but I’m one minor setback away from losing the storage unit or the car, and then I’m truly on the street.

If you have any resources or even just a lead on temporary work where I can bring a well-behaved dog, please let me know. Bodie and I appreciate you.

TL;DR: Whistleblower living in car in San Diego with a Pitbull. Need help with gas and dog-friendly work/daycare to keep fighting an illegal eviction.
