Hi everyone my name is Dennis and for the last 2.5 months I’ve been homeless/couch hopping. I ended up in this position because I went to Ghana for education purposes. My living situation and experience was horrible and I told my parents I just want to come back to the States and continue my education there, in which they said no. A week after that conversation I got a plane ticket and left, my parents found out I left and cut me off. When i came back in February this year I tried getting my stuff from home and it got to the point where I needed to ask the police for help.

I had everything at home, my pc, cosplays, Xbox, clothes, social security, etc. They cleared my room and told officers I had everything which I did not. The cops couldn’t really do much because my dad said I can’t enter and they were only there to keep the peace. I decided to just take my L and figure out my life now.

I have a job now after a month of relentless applying, I have my car, I have ebt and medi-cal. I live in California and everything is ridiculously expensive, I don’t really get much hours but I’ve been picking up lots of shifts. I have 3 associates degrees and was on the way to working on a bachelors when my life turned to the worst. My friends and church have helped me alot but I’m slowly starting to use up all my favors. My girlfriend helps me now and then, but she also has a busy life.

I would appreciate any help I can get and can answer any questions. The money raised would be used for housing purposes and gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated even if it’s a good luck :)

I absolutely hate even the idea of posting on here and asking for help, I’ve always been independent and idk asking for help makes me feel weak I guess but I’m down bad right now. I’m active duty in the AirForce so my pay in itself isn’t the best but recently somebody scammed my card or whatever they did and scammed the money I did have saved in my account and now my account has been overdrawn while also being frozen because I reported it. I have no access to my money right now, I have bills that are becoming late. My phone bill is past due and now is becoming suspended so I’m about to lose service. I’m completely lost right now. I know everything will probably work out but I’m at my lowest point right now. If anybody can help out with anything at all I would appreciate it and could repay it if anything when I can. I would atleast like to keep my phone service active so I can keep in touch with my family back home since I’m away from them. I can give more details if need be but I’m just embarrassed about all of this. This being anonymous is the only reason why I’m even posting. Anyways thank you if you even just read this, I truly appreciate going through this Reddit and seeing all the kind people help however they can.

My sweet boy, Herby, has a massive bladder blockage and has been at the emergency vet for over 24hrs now. Each call we get is worse and worse news. I’m really struggling to even write this, and to be honest, I feel a bit ashamed that I’ve ended up here.

I’ve been fighting cancer for half a year now, the cancer cell only had a partial response to the chemo, and it’s been a brutal journey. I’ve lost all my hair, and I am now facing the surgery to have my breasts removed.

Honestly, I’m exhausted. I just want to take some time off from the fight, step away from work, and actually enjoy what time I have left. Philip is a stray cat who became part of our family when we moved into our new home. When we first found him, he was limping from what we believe was an accident with a small vehicle. Despite his rough start, Philip showed us his gentle spirit. He loves sleeping on top of us, and though he’s introverted, he never minds when his fellow feline friends play around him.

Now Philip is facing a life-threatening challenge. He has been diagnosed with kidney failure. His creatinine levels are dangerously low, and his blood urea nitrogen can’t even be read due to the severity of his condition. The veterinarian has told us that Philip is in critical condition and needs intensive monitoring and care for the next few days.

We want to give Philip every chance to fight through this, but the costs of his treatment and hospitalization are overwhelming for us right now. He needs to stay confined in the clinic at least for a week and each night cost 40USD. We are also struggling financially because of our current situation (Mortgage, Bills and my parents have no jobs because of their age)

My cat Inara, had a previously undetected kidney disease and became dehydrated. I took her Thursday because I thought she just hadn't been eating, but she didn't drink anything since Tuesday.

She's currently recovering in the hospital and the expenses could reach amounts greater than initially anticipated. I added the ER bill photo which exceeds what I had already paid out of pocket at the primary vet.

So long as she gets her treatment she'll be able to come home with prescription food. I maxed out my CareCredit and borrowed some from my sister for a deposit but if anyone could help it would be incredible if more costs occurred and to ease the financial weight. Edit: The ER bill did require a $3k deposit which is where the financial hurt came in. If things get higher I don't know what I'll do. This girl normally sleeps on my chest or back every night, and not having her there is uncomfortable.
