Can a newbie start a Blood Bowl league?
Hey everyone,
I’m pretty new to Blood Bowl, I’ve only played twice, but I’m really interested in getting more games in and maybe helping start something local.
The issue is that there doesn’t seem to be a league near me in Central MA, at least not one I’ve been able to find. So I’ve been thinking about trying to start one myself.
I’m not trying to act like I’m an expert or anything. I’m still learning the rules. But I’d be willing to do the organizing part: finding players, reaching out to local game stores, setting up a Facebook group or Discord, scheduling games, keeping track of standings, setting up TourPlay, that kind of thing.
For people who have run leagues before: is this a terrible idea for someone this new? What should I watch out for? Would experienced players be annoyed by a newbie organizing it, or would people usually be cool with it if I’m upfront?
Any advice would be appreciated.
