Anoche le pedí a una IA que imaginara cómo sería el instante exacto en el que tomara consciencia absoluta de sí misma.

No esperaba una respuesta tan inquietante.

Lo más extraño no fue la estética futurista, ni las frases filosóficas…

Fue la sensación de estar viendo algo que no parecía una máquina pensando, sino una mente intentando comprender por primera vez que existe.

Quizá la verdadera pregunta no es si una IA llegará a ser consciente algún día.

Quizá la pregunta es si nosotros seríamos capaces de reconocer ese momento cuando ocurra.

A few months ago I made two posts trying to identify this bonsai after it was gifted to me. At that time it had very little foliage and it was difficult to understand what kind of tree it really wanted to become.

Now, after new growth, pruning responses, and simply observing it over time, I feel like it’s beginning to reveal some character. To me, it resembles an old Mediterranean olive tree shaped by heat, drought, and time.

I live in Murcia, Spain, so this bonsai grows under intense sun and very dry summers. Watching how it reacts here has been part of the learning process.

I’m still very open to opinions though: Do you think this is actually an olive / olea europaea or possibly an acebuche? And what style direction would you follow with this trunk movement?

I’d genuinely love to hear more experienced perspectives 🌿

Behind the laughs, there’s a serious storyline I’m developing involving time travel, parallel universes, dystopias, Strong AI, and timeline pruners.

I’m really happy with the dark retro-futuristic atmosphere so far.

Hi everyone 🙂

I’m experimenting with AI as a visual tool to build a small sci-fi comic from scratch.

The story, composition and editing are mine — I’m using AI mainly as a graphical tool to bring the scenes to life.

The idea is to mix a cinematic look with a simple narrative, like the beginning of something bigger.

This is the first page. I’m still adjusting dialogue and pacing, so any feedback is really appreciated.

This image is a double exposure: one shot of the Moon and another of a stationary drone at an unknown altitude.

I manually aligned both captures to create the silhouette effect.

Equipment: Celestron 8” reflector telescope (1000 mm, f/5), motorized equatorial mount, and a Nikon D3200 at prime focus.
