Available here is a Maiora Alpha in Orogrigio. Maiora is a brand related to Delta and this pen certainly has the Delta Dolcevita DNA. This beautiful fountain pen features a stacked grey, black, gold, and white acrylic. This is complemented by gold plated trim, including the vermeil .925 cast cap band. The gold plated #6 nib is a broad. It's a smooth nib but not overly broad. The pen fills by cartridge or converter, but can also be used as an eyedropper. It has been inked, but appears new. [A2] Comes with all boxes and papers. I'd like $200 Shipped. SOLD!

First ‘I want it’ gets it. Payment by Paypal G&S. USPS Priority Mail within the US is included, overseas shipping at cost. Combine items for no additional shipping cost. Feel free to message with any questions or for additional pictures.

Thanks for looking!

best,

Doug

[WTS] Montblanc Oscar Wilde Fountain Pen

Here's a beautiful and smooth writing Montblanc Oscar Wilde fountain pen. This is one of my favorite Montblanc Writers Series pens. I like it so much I recently bought a NOS three pen set, so I am selling the fountain pen I have been using up until now.

The Oscar Wilde is one of the earliest Writers Series pens. In fact it was the third release in the series, back in 1994. The pen has a vintage feel, and is not nearly as frilly as the more recent WS pens. The pen matches a unique black and pearl resin with black cap, section, and turning knob. The large snowcap logo is ivory in color. The clip and trim are vermeil, and the cap bands, cap top, and turning knob have a coin edge. The solid gold nib has a unique but not particularly special engraving.

This particular pen has been a regular user for me, but it in great condition. The 18K medium nib is smooth and has great ink flow. The piston filler works smoothly. The resin is in great shape, free from the sort of micro scratches you tend to find on older Meisterstucks. The trim is in great shape. There are a couple of issues, though. The barrel has a touch of ambering at the very front edge. It's hidden by the cap when capped, but otherwise visible. It was like this when I got the pen (I'm at least the second owner) but in the 8-10 years I've had this pen, it hasn't gotten any worse. Perhaps it was discolored by an ink spill in the cap. I can only speculate. It's noticeable if you look for it, but if I hand the pen off to someone and ask what's off, no one has pinpointed it. Also, the Oscar Wilde signature on the cap has lost a little bit of the gold filling that makes it legible. And there is no box or papers with this one- just the pen. Overall, in light of what I've mentioned here, I would rate the pen as [B]. It is #6480/20000.

I would like $750 shipped for this one.

Got my Style of Zug 149!

I just received my Style of Zug 149 LE. I had to wait an extra six weeks or so because they sent it for a nib exchange before sending it on to me. It's a beauty! Basically a standard 149 in a non-standard color, with metal end caps and a larger than usual snow cap emblem. The nib has a simple but cool engraving. An interesting feature is that the pen doesn't have an LE number, but '1 of 500' is engraved on the nib. It's a beautiful writer as well! I'm glad I waited for the OB nib- it's crisp and smooth and has great ink flow.
