Ground cable replacement for 2015 Mazda CX-5
Has anyone had to replace the ground cable in a 2015 Mazda CX-5 or similar model? I have been attempting to replace the cable but I'm a bit stuck on what to do next. It seems that the cable runs down and connects underneath the battery tray. I've already attempted to remove the battery tray to get to connection point but there's another unit mounted on the outer shelf of the tray that's restricting me from doing so. I can kind of wiggle the whole thing out of the way but not enough to have work space for the cable. I attempted to just replace the terminal but the corrosion on the terminal infiltrated the cable so it all has to go. I'd also like to note I'm fairly inexperienced, and I'm not super familiar with part names. Anyone got any pointers on what I need to do? Any advice would help me greatly.
