EM friends - what do you look for on an application?

I’m currently applying for an Emergency Management Coordinator position within a medium sized city. I have significant experience as a 911 first responder in multiple facets and in supervisory/acuity levels. As someone currently in EM, what do you look for on a resume for an “ideal” candidate? Asking so I can tailor it appropriately! Thank you :)

Runners: Long Run Training - Close Mountain Trails and Paths?

Hi Denver! Currently training for a marathon and the Cherry Creek Trail just isn’t doing it for me (the stale pee smell is getting me lol). I’m getting to the mileage that it’s difficult to find a good route in the city. I’d like to get out of the city for a long run, any recommendations on Mountain area runs or even nice paths towards Northern Colorado? I’m happy with a nice paved route or a trail as long as it’s clear where I’m headed. I need 15-20 mile runs.

I finished a half marathon this morning…

And I finally feel like the person I used to be. I put in the work with eating better and exercising once starting Tirzepatide, but Tirzepatide was a huge factor in helping me put in that work. I was in great shape in my 20’s, but struggled hard with significant hormone imbalance and stress eating in my 30’s until it was out of control. Tirzepatide helped me crawl back to the woman I was, extremely grateful I took the leap with trying it. I feel so much better, so much better.

Edit: posting this because 1. Yall are the only ppl who know I decided to try the Tirzepatide route and 2. I scoured this page and many others before making the leap to try it. Leaving this here for others in my shoes looking for ppl’s experience :)
