trying for ABSN progrmas
hi, i recently graduated with my masters in biology with research in neuroscience. I have decided to look into ABSN programs, as I felt that I had many of the prerequisites, due to the two Bachelor of Science degrees I hold. One degree in in Biology with a minor in molecular biology and the second degree is in Microbiology with a minor in chemistry. I recently did an audit for the classes I have take for an in-state program and they want me to retake all of my intro classes, biology, chem, micro, +labs(almost a total of 15 courses). I had completed them in my undergrad and they said the main reason was because I need a B or higher in these classes(though on the programs requirements it does not specify that), but I have done higher levels of biology, chem and micro with labs to complete the three degrees I have. I am studying for the HESI A2 exam currently. My question is, if I have the completed prereqs and a high HESI score, do the grades still matter? I heard stories of medstudents(obvi different programs, ik) if you have a high mcat score they dont really care of gpa. thanks
