Hello everyone
Recently, I took my 6-year-old Chihuahua to the vet for a routine checkup and vaccinations. During the visit, the vet told me she had built-up bacteria in one of her upper nipples and expressed the material from it. About a day or two later, I noticed that one of her nipples became enlarged and light pink in color.
She is acting completely normal, eating and drinking normally, and doesn’t seem to be in any pain. She also isn’t licking or bothering the area. I’m wondering if this enlargement could simply be irritation or inflammation from the vet expressing the built-up bacteria, or if it’s something I should be concerned about and have rechecked.
