Wealthsimple won't allow an internal TFSA transfer from one TFSA account to another one because they said that my "TFSA accounts are currently used as collateral for your Portfolio Line of Credit, which prevents us from raising the cash to complete this transfer". I have a managed TFSA and another self directed TFSA. I was trying to transfer money from the managed TFSA to the self directed one but they denied the request and gave the above statement as their reasoning. Does anyone understand what this means? My LOC has about 9k on it and the TFSA accounts have over 100k.
