Why does my sister go back to the ugliest man this world has ever seen even AFTER he proves that not only do they have no visual redeeming qualities, he’s also a shitty person?
Ok so, I (16F) have a sister (19F) whose type in men is genuinely so bad that it could put the worst relationship to shame. She’s always had this thought in her head (that shes said sometimes too) that she could date the worst man possible and they would change their ways because she’s just that ✨amazing✨ or whatever, you know “I can change him” type thought. News flash, they never do and it’s ALWAYS her who’s crying over a breakup with him and begging to get back together cause they both just ”absolutely love each other so much that living without each other is unimaginable”. That’s what she did with her current boyfriend, let’s call him Phish.
During the past year my sister has been dating this guy and talking shite about all of her other exs (like she’s not the one who came crawling back to them basically on her knees) and saying how Phish is just so much different and blah blah blah. Yeah other than not being a stalker (like one of her exs) and not being adopted (like one of her exs) theres not much else different about this guy and the other exs. He’s got absolutely no good or redeeming qualities what so ever. He’s ugly, hes got a terrible personality and he blames his parents and the economy on it. His head and face like he was dropped on his head, bounced on the floor and the ceiling fan decided it needed to practice dribbling him for basketball practice, his teeth look like he was punched so hard on the inside of his mouth, and his facial hair is so unkempt and unclean that it puts the aftermath of a tornado, hurricane AND earthquake to shame. The only ”redeeming” quality about this guy could POSSIBLY be how tall he is, like 6ft of something because the immediate women in my family don’t secured 5’3, but that’s thrown out the window when you hear how grating his voice is. I can’t even talk to this guy because his voice makes it seem like he’s always complaining in his best impression of a high pitched 2 year old but he’s 21 so it doesn’t work and instead sounds like he’s failing to moan every time he opens his mouth.
His personality and responsibility is also terrible. He’ll make my sister cry or feel Insecure and make It seem like HES the one whos hurt BECAUSE of her or her friends. He tried to tell her (when they just got together) that she can’t have male friends but he can have female friends. Then when my sister called him out for being a hypocrite, he said it’s because of his parents (i dont even know how or why), his shitty police brother (don’t know why either) and his even shittier dating life. THEN he started an argument because SHE called him out for calling him a hypocrite. He doesn’t take responsibility AT ALL and blames his PARENTS because he’s too wuss to be an actual man and get a better paying job than his minimum wage job. And he ALWAYS. BLAMES. HIS. PARENTS. FOR. HIS. PROBLEMS!!!! He says he needs money but can get it because of his parents, they make date plans, he cancels last minute because of his parents!! OH and don’t forget they were dating when she was 17 and he was 19. Not that bad seeing as they’re both over the age of consent, and we know many people whove had a similar thing with their relationship with a bigger gap, but I feel like he’s some kind of cree. (Yes I have met him an his family. Yes the only one that wasn’t screaming red flags was the infant who could barely walk. Overall it’s safe to say that I don’t like the guy.
Onto the actual reason why I’m ranting rn, thx for reading the background of this rant lol sry it’s so long.
Like 1 week ago or last week they broke up because of something *he* did. AND GUESS WHO I FOUND OUT NY SISTER IS DATING ONCE MORE!! Yall I thought she was attempting to rage bait me or just joking. NOPE! She’s back to dating that ugly, useless not even half of a man we’re calling Phish. And it pisses me off bc theyre ALWAYS on call. My sister and I enjoy playing Minecraft together since she got her Xbox and we can play again. Well yesterday, she asked me if she wanted to continue the city we‘re building together on the big TV. I of course said “YAS QUEEN 💅🏻💅🏻🥳” since we’ve never played on that TV before. Well I noticed that she was basically checking her phone every 2 minutes we were playing. Which is saying something, because during the 2 hours that I played Minecraft, she only played with me for less than 5 minutes before telling me that she’s gonna go to her room. I was kinda irritated so out of spite I barged into her room after knocking like the police do when they don’t have a warrant with a shitty attitude and said that I’m done playing because shes taking so long. She might think I’m an idiot. She says she was “talking” to her useless, barely half man of a boyfriend, but the “talking“ she was doing was not one spoken with words since whenever she speaks in her room, we can hear it in the living room where I was and where she was supposed to be.
Flash forward to when we were getting our own dinners like 4-5 hours after I went back downstairs, she’s STILL on call with him, and when I looked into the camera to ask why the hell he had to be so needy and couldn’t keep it in his pants, THE DUMBASS WASNT EVEN IN THE ROOM!!! (yes they were FaceTiming) When I asked my sister why the hell she went back to this guy, since looks, and personality is shitty and she DEFINITELY can’t get money or materials out of dating him, she says “I don’t want money from this relationship, I’m an independant woman!” 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Bro… i know the parents keep saying it was me who our uncle dropped as a baby, but are you sure you’re not the one suffering from brain damage? Dating someone (from what I hear) is supposed to be like you guy playing tug of war and you’re on the same side trying to help each other. My sister and Phishs relationship is like them playing tug of war with a tornado and Phish has changed sides and my sisters too dumb to see it. AND BOTH partners are supposd to benefit from being together. As from what I see from the outside and hear from the inside.… the only one who’s benefitting from this “relationship” is him. My sister is considered quite attractive and has a decent paying job (at 19 and he couldn’t get one better than a fast food restaurant at 21… bro do better 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️) where her money is basically spent on him and gas money to go to him and take them on dates that hes asked her on, when we were both raised with (who ever asks to go on the date is the one who pays the most, or just the one who pays in general) AND WHAT IS SHE GETTING IN RETURN You ask? No financial repayment, no mental rock to help her mental state, no decent body to look at legit nothing. (Yes I’ve seen him without a shirt wearing only tight shorts bc I was dragged on one of their dates where they hung out he’s got nothing impressive, he’s just thin and pale like slenderman 😭.
Soo, can someone PLEASE tell me, WHY DOES SHE LIKE HIM?? Am I over reacting to the Minecraft thing? Does anyone know how I can break them up again and this time forever since he’s CLEARLY a useless and harmful parasite that needs to go? Can anyone PLEASE tell me why she goes back to him every time?
