Seeing triple of words when reading
People can see doubling of words when they read but can seeing triple of the words exist too or is it just double?

Look this is what I believe. I believe if you see your floaters all the time in your vision, in all bright surfaces. Outside and if you have excessive floaters than I think you are a good candidate for floater surgery. It’s 2026 and I still can’t believe there isn’t any other safer procedure for floaters. And eye doctors don’t take them serious. They will just laugh and brush it off every time floaters is mentioned. I wish eye floaters never existed! I hate them so much! I see lines, dots, worms, all these weird shapes. I see all this debris that my eyes just remind me of the Atlantic Ocean with all this stupid debris in my eye balls. I would say guys if it’s annoys you too much, if you been suffering with them for years and you can’t see them going away than just do the surgery. Ignore what eye doctors say. Yes the risks are scary but at the end of the day the doctors can’t see your vision 24/7. You’re only the judge of your vision. Eye doctors can see your floaters for a few minutes and than that’s it with that slip lamp whatever it’s called. Than they say to me ‘we canst see all your floaters’ ‘they must be hiding’. So ofcourse they won’t believe you when they still don’t have any technology where they can check all your floaters. It’s 2026, it’s pretty sad and the fact that there is no other safer option for floaters is sad.
Hi guys. I have VSS. I have excessive floaters and a lot of other visual symptoms with it too. I have dry eyes and very sensitive eyes. I always notice my floaters all the time in all bright places and outside because my eyes are very sensitive. I dunno if it’s from that or maybe it’s from my VSS. Me filtering the floaters out of my vision and ignoring them it’s bullshit, it doesn’t work for me. People say I think about it and I don’t. When I don’t even think about it, the floaters are just always there. I’ve seen lots of eye doctors they have disregarded it. I’m at the point where I don’t know what to do anymore. If treatment is my only way out than I’m willing to take all the risks because I can’t imagine living like this forever.
Some people see their bfep when they’re looking up at the sky but I see the bfep when I look up and down at the sky. Like wherever it’s blue outside I see the bfep.
When people see ghosting on texts do they see it on with a white text on a black background or with black text on a white background. I usually see it on a black back ground but I can see it on other coloured backgrounds too. Does anyone else see it everywhere even with other coloured backgrounds? Here is an example of ghosting on text.
Does everyone with VSS have excessive floaters? Because in the VSS category with VSS one of the visual symptoms is ‘excessive floaters’. Because I have excessive floaters would the floater operation be a good idea? So I was wondering are people with VSS good candidates for the floater operation? I saw a retina specialist and he told me he never preformed the floater surgery on people with VSS because their difficult cases which I think his lying. He said if I have all the other visual phenomens than taking out the floaters wouldn’t make any difference. What do you guys think?
They say bfep should last for only a couple of seconds and disappear. But people with VSS like me my bfep doesn’t last for a couple of seconds. When I see my bfep, it’s constant and it doesn’t dissapear. It just stays there whenever I see it.
Hello guys. I have VSS and lots of visual symptoms along with it. I have excessive floaters too and is it true that people with VSS(like me) their brain can’t ignore and filter out the floaters? Because my brain can’t. Is anyone in the same situation?
Guys i feel like they both look similar. how can you tell which one is which? I get this on black backgrounds and other coloured backgrounds too. I never see it on white back grounds. I have abit of astigmatism but because I see double words too they think it’s neurological and due to my VSS. Also when I blink the shadows/ghosting on the words move. They said it’s not suppose to move and that’s neurological. Man I hate my eyes. I have so many symptoms with my VSS. It’s so annoying.
Hi guys so as shown in this pic. When I turn the lights on in the bathroom and I look at the mirror i see this around my hands and arms and even on around my top. I have VSS so I know that’s a symptom of it too. Anyone else gets this?
Is it possible for someone with VSS to have all these symptoms? I wonder if there is anyone out there with VSS that has all of these visual symptoms listed in this pic?
People have mild VSS. Moderate VSS. And severe VSS. What requires to have severe VSS?
Also is it possible for someone to have all the symptoms of VSS? Like there’s a long list of visual symptoms. I wonder if someone can have them all?
Hi guys I have VSS and I see double on texts and objects on a black background and even on other colour back grounds too. I just don’t see it on a white background ground. But see how the double is on top of the object and top of the letter, my doubling is always at the bottom. The eye docs think it’s neurological? I also see the shadows on the letters and they said I have abit of astiganism but they told me the double is neurological. I thought seeing double is astigmatism but they told me it’s not.?
This is a long list of my symptoms and I’m still surprised my eyes are healthy.
Excessive floaters
Enhanced bfep
After images/palinopsia
4.tv fuzzy static
5.light sensitivity
6.ears ringing
I have very sensitive eyes
Seeing double on words which they say is neurological and I have abit of astigmatism in my eyes so I have to wear reading glasses and the shadows would move when I blink each time and the eye docs say that’s apart of my VSS.
HOW is my eyes still healthy after all of this. My life. I was telling my neuro-othlamoglist about all my symptoms I’m sure he was thinking wow that’s a lot.
Hello guys, my bfep is so bad. I literally see it everywhere in all bright places. All over the sky. White walls. Tv with a white back ground and light colour background. Basically everywhere. And wherever it happens my bfep is always constant with those thousdands of white little dots moving so fast and they NEVER STOP. Some people are so lucky when they see their bfep because theirs would last for a couple of seconds but mine never stops. The neuro othlamologist said nothing I can do it’s just how my brain works and it’s how my brain is processing the bfep. So clearly I have severe bfep and I have severe floaters too. My eyes are very sensitive the eye docs say so I guess that’s why these floaters and bfep are always there in the sunlight and all bright places. I wear sunglasses all the time and try to avoid it. I want to know if there is anyone the same as me where the bfep is constant and never stops. I’m still surprised my eyes are healthy when I get them checked.

And when it happens my bfep is always constant with those thousdands of white little dots moving so fast and they NEVER STOP. Some people are so lucky when their see their bfep because theirs would last for a could have seconds but MINE NEVER STOP whenever the bfep happens. The neuro othlamologist said nothing I can do it’s just how my brain works and it’s how MY brain is processing the bfep. So clearly I have SEVERE BFEP. my life sucks. I wear sunglasses all the time and try to avoid it. I want to know if there is anyone the same with me that’s it’s constant and it never stops because so many people’s post don’t have that.
Hi guys I saw a neuro ophthalmologist about my VSS condition. My bfep is so bad that everyone im in a bright room, outside all over the blue sky, white walls, my bfep is constant and it never stops. There’s people that only see the bfep for a couple of seconds but mine is horrible it never stops! Eye doc said unfortunately it’s just how my brain is processing this. Anyone in the same boat whose bfep never stops and what did they do about this? I wear sunglasses all the time.
All my symptoms are bad. And the eye docs say you won’t go blind by floaters. You won’t go blind by static. You won’t go blind by BFEP. You won’t go blind by afterimages because it’s all normal phenomens that eyes see. YES I UNDERSTAND THAT. If your VSS is severe than there’s nothing we can do. But you won’t go blind by it. You need to learn to live with it and if you can’t than that’s a problem. That’s what they tell me the eye docs. Everyone is different and it depends on the person on how much they can handle it and because I still want to live I’m trying my best. I’m still greatful I’m not blind but still VSS is no joke; it’s a horrible condition 🥺
I hate the eye doctors I feel like they don’t take people with VSS seriously enough because it is a IMVISIBLE CONDITION which makes it even more harder!!! Every time I see a eye doc about my VSS I’m always yelling at them because I’m sick of them telling me it’s just anxiety and all my symptoms are normal and my brain will adapt to it. I have VSS the symptoms are much stronger than someone who doesn’t have VSS. That’s what I tell the eye docs! I don’t let them get to me, if they piss me off I tell them haha. That’s just me!
There’s people with mild VSS. Moderate VSS. And severe VSS. I think I’m in the severe range as my floaters and bfep is insane. Who else sees doubling on words? The neuro othlamologist said nothing you can do about the doubling. Anyone else when they see their bfep in all bright places and sky that it never stops. They say it should last for a couple of seconds but because I have VSS mine never stops and the doc said nothing I can do about it. HOW are my eyes still healthy. HOW is there no treatment for static, no treatment for bfep. No treatment for after images. This world sucks.
