1st Attempt at CELPIP (with very minimal preparation) - Perfect Score 🎉
Took the exam 2 days ago and just got my results back! I should preface by saying that I’m a native English speaker as well as a writer. I also have an A.A in Law so I’m used to reading and analyzing large chunks of text. That being said, I’m always timid about speaking on the spot and I had very limited time to prepare so I was super anxious about this exam.
I registered on May 11th but because I’m a chronic procrastinator, I didn’t do any sort of prep until the night before. Seeing as time was of the essence, I didn’t do any mock tests or practice questions. Instead, I focused my energy on creating a solid strategy.
This was the main video I watched that night (I also re-watched it right before the exam): https://youtu.be/hcdzgjFtopo?si=u2L0W7YTyFi3TLol
I also watched this video by HZAD for tips for Speaking: https://youtu.be/LGfXP7I8lpI?si=GjJaa10uM2y5few3
Outside of these two videos, I just went over a few of the templates on the CELTESTPIP app, did the free Speaking exercise and proceeded with faith 😂
If anyone has any questions regarding tips and tricks, let me know! I’d be happy to answer :)
