[Android] Codex Valoris, our dark fantasy idle dungeon crawler, would love your honest feedback before we go wider
Game Title: Codex Valoris
Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codexvaloris.game
Platform: Android (Early Access on Google Play)
Description:
Codex Valoris is a dark fantasy idle dungeon crawler. Your hero descends through
a series of dungeons and auto-fights the enemies while you focus on building
power. You collect gear with affixes and set bonuses, unlock a tree of mystic
arts, raise companions, and push through prestige and ascension layers that reset
your run for permanent bonuses. There is also a PvP arena with global Play Games
leaderboards if you want to compete. Progress keeps going while you are offline,
so you make headway even when you are not actively playing. We tried to keep the
early game readable while making the deeper systems rich enough to keep you
theorycrafting later on. It runs fully on Android, supports cloud save through
Play Games, and uses a pixel art style with a darker tone. We are a small team
of four, and this is our side project next to our GPS RPG LootQuest, which has
been live and actively played for the past two years. We would really love
honest feedback on the early game pace, anything that feels confusing in the
first ten minutes, how the loot and upgrade loop feels, and any bugs you run
into.
Free to Play Status:
[x] Free to play
(Free to play, with optional rewarded ads for a temporary boost and optional
crystal packs. Nothing is locked behind a paywall and you can progress fully
for free.)
Involvement:
We are a four-person team and built Codex Valoris ourselves, from programming and
game design to art and balancing. Alongside it we continue to develop and update
our GPS RPG LootQuest. I am part of the dev team and I am here to collect feedback
and answer any questions in the comments.
