Packing for the beach 9 week old and 19

Hi little update from my previous post!

  1. I was calculating how old my kids would be at time of this vacation and I was off a little bit. Whoops we’re blaming newborn sleep which means I’m getting none.

  2. We have decided to drive! It will be an 8 hour drive and we will need to stop every two hours. So we’re thinking of making it a 2 day drive instead of a one day drive.

So now that I know that we are driving to the beach. What do I need to pack to make this the easiest trip humanly possible?

Luckily, we will have my husbands entire family with us in the 19 month old will have a bunch of cousins and all the sisters have said that they’re gonna help me maintain sanity. But I don’t really know what to pack.

The 19 month old is in a toddler bed and I found some like inflatable toddler beds I’m thinking of getting. We have a bassinet for the 8 week old.

I have swimsuit for 19 month old. That’s all I really know to pack so any practical advice to make my life easier would be great.

Thank you all so much for your advice on the last post, it really helped make the decision to drive.

Traveling with 8 week old and 19 month old

I’m going to be going to the beach on a family vacation soon and I have no idea what to do. My oldest does a toddler bed at home and he does really well but I don’t know how well this will go on vacation or how to even prep for this.
I don’t know what to pack.
I don’t know what’s really needed.
How do you even do an airport with two babies (I mean I know my husband will take our older one but still this is stressful)

I think I’m just spiraling but any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Help 😅
