









Bought this jar of pesto from the store yesterday, when I opened it it didn’t do the usual pop and opened very easily, which I SHOULD have throughly checked it but I didn’t think in the moment. It smelled and looked fine in the jar, tasted fine, no visible mold on the actual pesto, and i cooked it into a tomato sauce (it spent a long time boiling) only after I finished the sauce did I notice that there was green mould on the lid ( and a tiny bit on the sides of the top of the jar). Now i realised I had bought it unsealed from the store, but I’ve already cooked it into the sauce. Will I die
Note: its unrefrigerated as it was supposed to be sealed & was kept in the pantry
