August Central Vietnam

Having a really hard time finalizing my Central Vietnam itinerary.

Currently planning:

• 3 nights Da Nang

• 4 nights Hoi An

• 3 nights Hue (including a day trip to Phong Nha)

That leaves us with 4 additional nights unaccounted for.

Trying to decide between:

• adding an extra night to Da Nang and Hoi An, then doing 2 nights in Lang Co as a relaxing resort break

OR

• going down to Quy Nhon for 2 to 4 nights

Initially considered Hanoi but decided against it due to August weather concerns and wanting to avoid additional flights/logistics.

Traveling with a mixed age group including young kids and seniors, so trying to balance culture, beaches, relaxation, scenery, and manageable logistics without making the trip feel too rushed.

Would love opinions from people who have done Central Vietnam extensively. Are we missing any destinations that would fit naturally into this route?

Hi! I’m looking for apartments within walking distance of the Green Line D branch. Ideally under $3K for a studio/1 bed, or under $4,500 for a 2 bed.

Would love something with a gym, grocery store nearby, on-site laundry, and a location that feels safe walking to the train at night.
