William Vale: Rooftop
I fully understand this is not the usual artists or venues that are spoken about in here but something should be said before spending money here. Not my usual place to be at as a whole so hesitated writing this. I attended the 1st event of what is supposed to be a series for the summer hosting various artists.
Sound: shot. I couldn’t hear a thing it was just sub & I felt like I could have heard better music in my living room with a livestream of the same view. One of the worst i’ve ever heard.
Bar: Lacking materials. For a hotel like the william vale I was super surprised to hear they had no limes lmao. Not something to die over but at nearly $20 a drink no lime can be shocking. Staffing also seemed low.
Crowd: I understand a lot of the crowd can be tourists/those that aren’t in bk at all, but most seemed collectively upset at what was offered. I should have known when I saw people leaving early.
Venue: Amazing view that can offer a lot but the bathroom situation was so bad. Men’s room already had throw up upon arrival and women’s room had a wildly disorganized line.
This place has a lot to get together before they host a series before the summer and I felt like I should share it for anyone who happens to get grouped into going or has friends interested in going.
UPDATE: Can confirm I went back today (5/16) and the sound was fixed and sunset set was pretty dope. Hope they saw this .
