Second month with AdSense revenue — happy with the progress, but trying to understand CPC/RPM better
Hi everyone,
I’m still quite new to AdSense and this is only my second month where the website is actually making any money.
So overall I’m already very happy with the progress, but I would like to understand the numbers better and learn what I should improve next.
Today’s numbers so far:
- Page views: 7,174
- Impressions: 13,268
- Clicks: 359
- Page CTR: 5.00%
- CPC: €0.06
- Page RPM: €3.10
- Estimated earnings today: €22.24
- Last 7 days: €128.49
- Current month so far: €413.03
The part I’m trying to understand is that the CTR looks quite strong, but the CPC is still very low. I’m not complaining because for a new site I’m happy with the result, but I want to learn what usually causes this.
Would you say this is mainly related to:
- traffic country / GEO
- niche and advertiser demand
- ad placement
- content quality and search intent
- mobile traffic
- seasonality
- or just normal for a newer site?
The website is content-based and mostly informational/tech-related. I’m trying to build it properly long term, not just chase quick clicks.
What would you check first if you were in my position?
Any honest feedback or practical tips would be really appreciated.
Thanks!
