Affiliate marketing is definitely better than adsense

I see lots of tool builders and bloggers complaining about adsense not approving their websites. Last month i removed my website from adsense and its never been better. Faster load speeds, cleaner pages, and more earnings per visit especially because I live in a third world country 😑

Can I verify two separate AdSense accounts using the IDs of two different family members?

Hi guys, I'm new to all this. I have two YouTube channels, and I know I can link the same AdSense account to both. However, I don't want to do that. I want to link a separate AdSense account to each channel using different IDs and different bank accounts belonging to my family members. Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated.

I got rejected by AdSense around 7 times for "low value content" and finally got approved

adsense site status

TL;DR: My first basic site got AdSense approval on the 3rd attempt with almost no SEO, very low traffic and heavy client-side JS. Later I built Rune with 50+ tools, much better SEO, UX and technical setup, but kept getting rejected for "low value content" around 7 times. I even tried adding articles, deleted them after realising I was just pushing AI garbage, got approved by Carbon Ads instead and mostly gave up on AdSense. I kept improving and launching Rune without doing anything specifically for AdSense, applied again and finally got approved. My main point is that you shouldn't depend only on AdSense, keep improving the actual site and keep reapplying.

A long time back, around August 2025, I wanted to build something of my own which was actually helpful for me and maybe other people too.

I created a pretty basic application. I didn't care about SEO, how Googlebot sees my site, how AdSense sees it or anything like that. The app was mostly client side, had heavy JS and I even added a subscription.

People were using it, but no one was buying the subscription because the free tier was already generous enough.

So I thought okay, maybe I should try ads.

I created an AdSense account and applied. Got rejected twice for different small issues. The funny thing is those rejections used to come in like 5-7 days.

On my third attempt, the site got approved.

I wasn't happy or sad because at that time I genuinely had no idea how hard getting AdSense approval can be these days.

Later, after seeing people actually use the app, I decided I wanted to build something much better. Something I could monetize using both subscriptions and ads and as Im in well in tech and already did many freelance work, I knew how to build scalable webapps,

That's when I started Rune.

I added 50+ developer tools(at that time), worked heavily on SEO, kept the UI/UX clean, hosted it on Vercel and even used Redis caching for some user information to keep things fast.

Applied to AdSense.

"Low value content."

That was the first time this rejection actually hurt because I had put significantly more work into Rune than my previous site which AdSense approved without much effort.

I thought maybe it needed more content, so I started publishing articles.

Applied again.

"Low value content."

And unlike my old site, every rejection was now taking around 15 days, sometimes even close to a month.

Then I built RuneHub, another content platform inside Rune, and published tech articles there too.

Rejected again.

By around my fifth rejection, I started losing hope. My rankings were also dropping and I realised I was basically pushing AI-written garbage on the web just because I thought AdSense wanted "content."

I felt bad about it and deleted those articles.

At that point I had mostly given up on AdSense.

I went back to working on the actual product.

I properly fixed the technical SEO, improved how all the platforms worked together using subdirectories and Next.js, and built more useful parts of Rune like Rune Career and Rune Learn.

The technical side is a much longer story, so I won't go too deep into it here.

I then applied to both Carbon Ads and AdSense.

After around 15 days, someone from Carbon asked me for traffic details and proof. I provided everything and around 30 days later Rune was approved.

AdSense rejected me again.

"Low value content."

My niche is mostly tech and education, so I thought Carbon Ads probably made more sense anyway. I implemented Carbon properly across Rune and it was doing fine.

I applied to AdSense again without expecting much.

Rejected again for low value content.

I didn't really care this time because Carbon was already running.

Then I applied for the seventh time with some more features (as rune's viewers was growing very fast , thanks to the SEO,AEO and GEO which I did), and after applying time .

Approved 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

And the obvious question is, what did I change before the approval?

Nothing special.

I kept improving the product like I was already doing. I launched Rune in more places, organic search traffic increased and I kept improving the UI and especially the UX, including how easily bots and users can understand and navigate the site.

That's basically it.

You can see how I finally placed the ads on Rune here:

https://rune.codes/tools/pdf/pdf-merge
https://rune.codes/hub/python/install-python-on-your-computer
https://rune.codes/hub/tech-trends/top-5-emerging-programming-languages-every-developer-should-watch

A few things I learned from this whole thing:

  • Don't assume SEO or traffic automatically gets you AdSense approval. The first site in my screenshot, (which i blurred) , got approved with almost no SEO. It was mostly client side, heavy on JS and sometimes had 50-100 views a week or even less. A lot of those views were probably me because I used the app for my own work.
  • Don't depend completely on AdSense approval. Apply to Carbon Ads, Mediavine or other networks if your traffic and niche fit them. If your traffic isn't there yet, work on that first. Even seeing a small amount of ad revenue can give you motivation to keep improving the product.
  • I think backlinks and actually launching your product matter more than people realise. Post it on Product Hunt, X, LinkedIn and relevant communities. I have no proof that this directly affects AdSense approval, but I would still rather have real mentions and real users than keep adding random articles hoping an AdSense bot changes its mind.
  • Keep improving everything. SEO, UX, navigation and the actual usefulness of the site. Don't make changes only for AdSense. Make the product genuinely better while you wait.
  • Keep applying. I've seen people get approved after being rejected for the exact same "low value content" reason without making any major change. After around 7 rejections, that was basically my experience too.

small note: I'm in tech and have spent way too much time dealing with SEO, low impressions, technical SEO, metadata, JSON-LD, UI/UX, frontend and even large backend systems while building my own products. If you're stuck with low impressions or want someone to look at your site and tell you what's technically wrong, feel free to DM me. I'm happy to help or properly audit/fix things for a minimal cost.

Also, Rune has become much bigger than I initially planned and now has a lot of people using the tools and reading things daily. I also have another SaaS which is doing pretty well, so handling all the content myself is becoming difficult.

I actually built my own content management system and admin panel for Rune, so articles and other content can be directly written and pushed from there instead of dealing with third-party services. I'm thinking of hiring a few interns to help me with technical content writing through that system. If you have prior experience writing content, understand technical topics and are looking for an internship, you can DM me too.

I got monetized, but AdSense won't approve my account.

I met the monetization requirements on the 14th of last month (June). I applied for monetization on the 16th and created my AdSense account through YouTube Studio. My application stayed under review for more than 48 hours, but it was eventually not approved.

I then logged into the AdSense website using the same email address I had used to create the account through YouTube Studio.

There, I noticed an issue. It said that my account had been deactivated a long time ago and that I needed to reactivate it. There was a blue "Reactivate" button below the message. I don't remember creating an AdSense account before, but after doing some research, I found out that it's possible I had created one in the past for a website without realizing it. I clicked "Reactivate," and the account went back under review.

After about four more days, I received another notification from AdSense saying that my account had not been approved. I watched a YouTube video where someone described a situation similar to mine. They said it was likely due to a duplicate account and recommended deleting that AdSense account, checking whether I had any other AdSense accounts under different email addresses, and then creating a new one using a completely clean email address. I followed that advice on the 25th of last month.

I created a new AdSense account through YouTube Studio again. On the 29th, I received another email from AdSense saying that the account had not been approved once again.

At this point, I'm still having trouble getting past Step 2 of the monetization process. I contacted AdSense Support on the 30th, and the support representative told me they would forward my case to the technical team and that I would receive a response within 24 hours. However, I still haven't heard back, and now I don't know what else to do.

Hi all. Basically, i have done the hard part of developing my saas and making it ready for launch. Now that development is out of the way, I'm struggling with getting exposure. What did you do to get exposure to your SaaS to get the maximum traffic to your pages with the least amount spent. As a developer, I actually suck at marketing side of things unfortunately. My saas is canvix.io - online image editor.

Any bit of guidance to help me and other potential developers facing this issue would be appreciated.

Adsense rejected me 3 times for "Low value content" - Is this traffic growth good for a site launched on May 11?

https://preview.redd.it/9zr263p34vah1.png?width=1877&format=png&auto=webp&s=b1ab826de700fb53b8b564d4de6fff53d245504d

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some honest feedback from people who have already been approved by AdSense.

I launched my job website interactjob.ma on May 11, so it's been about 7 weeks (today is July 2).

According to Google Search Console:

  • 🚀 60.4K impressions
  • 👆 1.68K clicks
  • 📈 2.8% CTR
  • 🎯 Average position: 7.2

(Screenshot attached)

The frustrating part is that Google AdSense has rejected my application 3 times, always with the reason:

>

The website is focused on job listings in Morocco. I publish new jobs almost every day and also have company pages and career-related content.

I'm trying to understand whether:

  • Is this considered good SEO growth for a brand new website?
  • Does the Search Console data suggest the site is on the right track?
  • What usually causes the "Low value content" rejection even when traffic is growing?
  • Should I wait a few more months before applying again, or is there something specific I should improve first?

I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have been through this.

Thanks!

Got approved in Mediavine journey after getting rejected in Adsense

After multiple rejections in Adsense I applied for Mediavine journey and got approved. I am posting this so that it might help others who are struggling with Adsense approval. Journey has lower entry restrictions than Mediavine and you can move after you get more traffic. It just feels like a relief to get an approval from some ad platform. If you have at least 1k monthly views mostly from tier 1 countries I would recommend journey to start with. From what I read adsense is still better for new sites.

Finally reached my first $100 AdSense threshold after months of hard work!

After months of working on my website, learning SEO, and staying consistent, I finally crossed the $100 AdSense threshold.

It’s not life changing money, but hitting this milestone feels amazing. There were days when my site barely got any traffic, I struggled to get AdSense approved, and I spent a lot of time figuring things out through trial and error.

My site is finally starting to grow, and this feels like the first real milestone. Hopefully, it’s the first of many payouts.

A big thanks to everyone in this community who shares advice and motivates beginners. On to the next goal!

After 5 years of grinding and waiting on my website and YouTube, AdSense said me this Ehahaha

Started my site and YouTube channel before 2019. Five years of posting, learning, quitting mentally a hundred times, coming back. YouTube still hasn't hit the 4,000 watch-hour threshold. But my website just crossed AdSense's payout minimum, first payment ever, on its way.

Today's earnings so far: €0.02. Yesterday: €0.16. This month: €0.18.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry, so I'm doing both. Anyone else been in the "technically monetized, practically not" phase for years? How long did it take you to actually see real money?

Can i use printable ePhilID for adsense?

For context, National ID/PhilID are allowed but I do not have it yet; however, our country is offering us this printable EPhilID that can be used if our National ID is not ready.

Old AdSense account was automatically deactivated for inactivity. New application keeps saying "Your account wasn't approved". Could this be treated as a duplicate account?

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit confused and hoping someone has dealt with this before.

A few years ago, I had an AdSense account under a different Gmail. I never earned anything from it, and after a long period of inactivity, Google automatically deactivated it. It now shows a "Reactivate account" button.

Recently, I created a new AdSense application using my personal Gmail for my new website.

My application keeps returning to "Your account wasn't approved" with only a Resubmit button. When I open the AdSense help page linked from the dashboard, the first issue listed is duplicate AdSense accounts, which made me wonder if my old inactive account is the problem.

I have not reactivated the old account because I don't want to accidentally end up with two active accounts.

Has anyone experienced this?

Should I:

Reactivate the old account and use that instead?

Continue with the new account?

Or contact Google before doing anything?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's been through this. Thanks!
