Discrepancy in AdSense revenue
Our website currently earns only about $1/day from AdSense, despite receiving approximately 100,000 independent views per day. It is a US-based website, and around 90% of our visitors are from the United States.
We typically have 2–3 ad placements per page: one anchor ad, one rail ad, and one ad at the bottom of the page. All ad formats are responsive. We have also verified that a visitor should always see at least one ad. Auto-optimize is ON.
Based on some answers, we expected revenue closer to $100 - 1,000/day with this level of traffic. That would mean our actual revenue is roughly 1,000 times lower than expected.
Do you have any idea what could cause such a significant discrepancy?
