Any advice on how to approve my website (high traffic)?

Hey there,

a while ago I built the webpage metamist.io.

It's a build sharing page for the game mistfall hunter, i had access to the game while it was in development from the devs and spent a ton of time curating all the data into this website.

The website is actively being used by players and by some big streamers, since it's essentially the only reasonable way to share builds.

I now tried approving it to adsense, to monetize it a little bit, since hosting is actually costing me quite some money at this point, due to the high amount of traffic coming in. For reference, over the last 7 days its gotten around 70k visitors and close to a half million pageviews.

Now, I see the content might SEEM thin in parts, since the builds obviously all work around the same skills / talents, but all of them are user built and are actively being used.

I dont want to "fake" content to approve this page, since it works perfectly alright as it is right now, but i also don't want to wait another half year, until the game possibly loses traction.

Any idea on how to handle this?

Need help on localized google ads campaign (Germany)

Hey there,

I've been trying to help a friend of mine out, who has an exterminator business.

I originally built a webpage for him , nearly a year ago. That page is now ranking well enough in his area and is drawing customers daily / weekly. It's a nice volume, not yet enough to go full time though.

So i started dabbling with google ads. I did some basic research and set up a smart campaign. We set the daily spent to approx. 15€ and had it run and it did perform fantasticly, about one call per 2-3 days.

After a while we cut it off, since his company closed for a week and i did some research, as i had a feeling that smart campaigns are not THE way to go. As a result of my research, i set up a, what i thought, "proper" google ads campaign, updated my conversion goals and maximization targets, wrote proper keyword lists and split the campaign into two ad groups for two different services.

Then, when his company opened again, I ran said campaign and it performed - miserably. 1 Call in about 2 weeks, not a lot of clicks. Surely i set something up wrongly.

At this point, I did not want to drain my friends money and admitted to myself that i might have overestimated my skills, so i paused the campaign and went back to the smart campaign. This one has now been running for about 4 weeks. It does create impressions and clicks, however it doesn't create any calls anymore, which is a problem, since calls are the only really important conversions in this business.

I've done a lot more research, but it feels to me, there is lots of information and methodologies that are not being shared openly and I'm having a hard time figuring out, how to update his campaign so that it performs properly.

I am more than happy to pay for a service / an audit / some coaching, if anyone knows of any ressources that are actually viable, but everything i found so far, seemed quite scammy.

Does anyone have any ideas / advise for me?

Also, didn't go into detail on the campaigns too much, since i didn't wanna dox my friends, just FYI
