AdSense alternatives for a small-to-medium website

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in hearing about the experiences of small-to-medium publishers getting around 100,000 pageviews per month.

Google recently disabled my AdSense account, which had been active since 2019. For the past year, I had been using it to monetize my website without any previous warnings or significant issues. Apparently, they objected to the placement of one ad unit, even though it had been in the same position for about a year. The account was disabled just before I was due to receive a substantial payment.

This is mainly a warning for anyone who relies heavily on AdSense: it may not be as reliable as it appears. Even if you try to follow the policies, Google can eventually disable your account with very little explanation. Their appeal response did not provide any specific or useful information either.

I’ve now started looking for alternatives and realized that there don’t seem to be many—or perhaps I simply don’t know about them.

Has anyone tested another reasonably reputable network that doesn’t rely on aggressive pop-ups, forced redirects, or other questionable practices? What kind of CTR, CPM, or RPM are you seeing?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Recent Category A learners - what did you start on?

Hi everyone, I'm 27 and recently passed my motorcycle theory test in Ireland. I have the learner permit sorted and I'm planning to do IBT next.

I have been driving cars for around 8 years and I also have previous motorcycle experience from outside Ireland. I rode a Hyosung 250 for about two years and have also ridden bigger bikes, including a Suzuki GSR750. I never completed the full motorcycle licence before, so now I want to do it properly here. For people who started the Category A route recently, especially age 25+:

What type of bike did you start on after IBT?
Did you go for something small like 250-300cc first, or something closer to 500-650cc?
Looking back, would you choose the same bike again?

Not looking for sales offers or exact insurance numbers, just recent real experience from people who went through the process.

Thanks.
