IS RELIGION THE MAIN PROBLEM BEHIND HATE ?

In a lot of places around the world where disputes are going on, there would be a main cause, and that will always be religion.

Religion causes so much distress to people. Why do people like to follow it still?

Why people spend their whole life fighting over religious beliefs? Killing people of the different religion?
The whole Israel, Palestine Gaza situation here in India the Kashmir situation it all crosses on religion.

Is religion just a mere belief in God? Or is it the way of life ?is it the culture and tradition that brings human beings together? Or is it just the most successful cult in history?

Why is it so hard for people to ask questions, think critically and treat religion as a personal choice? There are multiple other problems that we can discuss. Why do people like to blame other people of different community, different cast and different religion?
Is it just a human way to make yourself feel superior than the other person?

Interested in knowing the opinion of the people of Kashmir( as a Himachali)

Hey guys, I am from Himachal and recently I made some Kashmiri friends and I got to know about their opinion on India, on whatever happened throughout the history.

And I also visited this sub, and I found out a lot about how Kashmiri's were treated (I saw those posts about Kashmir women being raped by army officers.) My friends also told me about Army misbehaving with the folks of Kashmir and everybody treating Kashmiri Muslims as terrorists.

So let me clear one thing, in no way I am forcing people of Kashmir to accept India as their nation, I am just curious, what were the things that made people of Kashmir revolt like this?

I want to know what were the reasons that Kashmiri people started hating India so much. As far as I know the army is there to protect the people of Kashmir, the land of Kashmir from Pakistan and China, right?
But what is the reality there ? And is it true that still Kashmiri Muslims are treated badly by the army, like in 2026 too?

And what are your opinions on the article 370 also which party do you guys support?

Also, is it true that you want to merge with Pakistan?

One thing that I can agree with, is there is a lot of hate towards your community, because of this whole islam fatigue in the world ( I am an atheist), although India is a secular country but the people in power still push religious narratives which are more inclined towards one religion.

do kashmiri muslims consider themselves different then the other muslims living outside kashmir?

and do you guys think kashmir also belonged to kashmiri hindus?

do you guys want a nation where your community gets its recognition and is respected under the idea of a secular nation and like other states u get the freedom from intense military?

or do u just want to be the part of a islamist state like pakistan?

also what do u guys have to say about the Pahalgam attack?

I deeply understand your love for your kashmir as being a Himachali I have that for my state too, I will also never let people from outside himachal decide the fate of Himachalis while locals suffer.

BE KIND🥹 I JUST NEED CLARITY
