Seeking Advice on new place.
Hi, New poster here. M (24), UK, I have just moved into a new adapted bungalow after a year of sofa surfing and living with my fiancé, who has recently left. Struggling to readjust to living independently and making this new space feel like my "home", and not just "a room with my things in".
I've begun on the living room, as that's where I spend most of my time, as I choose to Sleep on my sofa (its a whole thing) and most of the other rooms are a complete mess right now. I have a few physical and mental health issues, limited support network and I'm currently surviving on benefits so the budget, scope and feasibility of any changes unfortunately has to reflect this, as much as that drives me insane. I have big ideas like full built in media walls, and dream of full home renovations, but its just not possible right now.
it leaves me often sat here feeling constantly frustrated, which rationally I know doesn't get me far, hence why I'm now reaching out here. Photos show the progress made in the last month since moving in. Some helpful advice on small things I might be overlooking to improve the space would be amazing.
