Does husband[M44] hates women? I’m[F29]
may 10 is Mother’s Day I’m pregnant for the 1st time in my life of 4 months with his child, I received messages from my Colombian/venezuelan/american/mexican friends and family saying HAPPY MOTHERS DAY even tho I haven’t had my baby yet but seems like a lot of ppl would agree with me if you’re carrying that baby inside you and going thru all the physical pain and process I’m already considered a mother for my closest to congratulate me ANYWAYS ( I’m Mexican btw) my husband tells me in his culture ( he’s Dominican) they do not celebrate Mother’s Day while u pregnant cuz it’s bad luck to celebrate it, or course I get a little bit sad im seeing this couple pass by right us a pregnant girl with a massive belly carrying balloons and a gift bag with her partner and I tell my husband that’s so nice I’d wish u gave me flowers or anything today it would’ve been nice he gets defensive and tells me I’m so materialistic the fuck I am? Asking for flowers that will cost u $10 dollars LOL to me he seems to want to delay my time at all costs he just can’t give in?…
I don’t have a single family Member or really close friend in this country they’re all back in Mexico and my only “family” which is him just can’t put aside his “culture” and think about mine… it’s so sad how we females end up in situations like this with assholes for a husband or even worst father of our child’s. I do blame myself, but there’s not much I can do right now at this point. What do you think?
BTW I’m saying he hates women not only for calling me materialistic but because since we were parked in a street when this incident happened, he got out of the car for no reason so I did the same and started walking while crying, he drove next to me asked me to get in the car saying “ get in the car materialistic” and I said to him apologize for calling me a name before I get in the car and since he saw a family was looking at us he left me there. I had to wait for a 20min uber in the middle of the street today lol. He then proceeds to starts messaging me about how when he comes up with some big money he won’t get the car if my dreams for me cuz I don’t deserve it and plus that me and my family including my fucking weirdo brother we are all the same.
So basically I ended up in this situation for saying “aww look at that pregnant lady with a gift” ? a little over the top I’d say… either he hates women or he just hates me. But I have the feeling he just deeply hates women.
